Just in time - new photos as American Idol gets set to start. It's girls night tonight and one wonders if Antonella Barba will get through to the next round. Given all the teenage male admirers and maybe even a few beer guzzling couch potatoes, she may well garner the most votes again. American Idol claims it's "about the singing" but it has become apparent that looks do and always have counted for more than just talent - Jessica Simpson et al comes to mind. When was the last time an ugly person was shown on mtv? If Antonella makes it through tonight then the shows credibility will take a serious knock if it hasn't already.
